目前在大学学习统计/应用数学的大二学生。前两个学期在线（更容易），因此可能获得高GPA 3.9。但是现在，我意识到当有数十页以上的精神笨拙的证据和定理时，我将做什么，无论我多么努力，我都无法进入脑海。而且我无法计算现在的测试数量-Mann，Fisher，Kruskall，Cochran，Friedman和Advance主题（即将开始），例如时间序列和随机演算。老实说，它现在开始越过我的头。与工程等其他专业不同，统计数据非常抽象。您无法在脑海中映像功能/测试并可视化。
on a positive side the above curriculum forms the foundation of financial mathematics/Quant and is the base forCFA, FRM, MFIN and also machine learning, data analytics and artificial intelligence(on the tech side).So one thing is for sure, it will prepare me for whichever way I want to go- Finance or Deep Tech.

My friend switched from Math to a double major inCSand Financial Engineering (Not sure if that is available where you're at) and a minor in math. Could also do a minor in fin-tech if you don't wanna do stats ever again.
你已经给了自己足够的平台one mediocre semester, but either way I reckon you should stick it out. You've likely developed bad habits from schooling online and forgotten how to study and take exams like normal. A lot of STEM majors will have classes that will have things that are quite difficult to grasp, and sometimes you just need to find a way to get through the exams. Aside from seeking external help, you should look at yourself and ask: How hard are you working? Are you prepared to work harder? How are your classmates faring? How do you feel day to day in terms of fatigue? Are you prepared to push your graduation date? Allocate time to reviewing things before and after class, you likely will have to change a lot even if you switch majors.
