第一篇文章WSObut long time reader. I think this is the only place people will be able to relate to my situation so I wanted to share.

I already told my boss I was quitting and he asked me to take a long vacation and rethink it, and try to come up with ways the job could be more tolerable (I have substantial leverage...). Second this. It doesn't sound like there's a way where this job makes sense for you, I'd figure out an exit plan and be as respectful as possible, but I see no reason why you should stay based on the information provided (barring them making you partner or something).
