Just wondering what otherPE/finance guys are tipping their MD this year. It's been a tough year for everyone with the continued ripples of COVID, high deal flow, etc. so want to make sure I'm not off-market. Luckily I just got my year-end bonus ($250k) so feeling generous. Was thinking $100 for each ASO/VP, then 20% of one paycheck to the MD (so 20% of my paycheck would be 20% * $3,600 = ~$720). Does that sound fair to you guys? Don't want to look like a cheapskate vs. their other analysts so just curious what "market" is
