They asked a lot about the data of the stock pitch you mentioned so be well prepared for all the data especially they cared about valuation. Also, you would better prepare for at least 2-3 stocks because some of them asked for more than one stocks. For the stock you are pitching, some will go for very technical questions about the business so it's important to know the real business and the terms and understand like a manager of the company. The fitting part interview is relatively standard and just be yourself.

Started with an initial phone interview where the topics included what my background was, why I was interested in joining Brandes, my interest in capital markets. There were a few fit questions on calculating free cash flow and putting together a discounted cash flow statement (also asked about different ways to calculate terminal value. After the phone interview I was called back and told they were going to put me in the backup pile, but luckily someone dropped out and they decided to bring me into the second round.

Interviewer asked the 3 things you liked most about each of your jobs, and then 3 things you disliked about each one. A lot of questions made to throw you off balance on simple behavioral one. When they ask for you weaknesses, give a real answer or they'll call you out on it. After the behavioral had a few technical valuation questions followed by a brief stock pitch. The stock pitch make sure you know the company inside out and especially the technicals as they will drill you on technicals more than you would expect from a first round screen.

There is a dinner the day before the "superday". The superday consisted of just meeting many research analysts, and talking about why Brandes, why investment management, why value investing.
