Not really. Maybe from an hours perspective but culture wise a boutique (or very small employee based firm) is going to have much more issues than a JLL type shop.
Picture being the only or one of twoAnalyst or Associates on a brokerage team and your Principal brining multiple client deals to the table for you to underwrite, create the pitch book and all marketing materials, additional admin work, etc. without any staffing help.
Echoing what others have said above...friend of mine interned here briefly - terrible culture, disorganization, and (exceptionally) low pay. Recommends avoiding it if at all possible.
Can confirm a lot of what's been said here as they are hiring for an analyst and an associate....again.
Their last hire only lasted a few months from what I see on LinkedIn.

Wow! really short average stint. Well maybe that's what you get when you don't promote analysts too? I don't get how people can be so myopic.
Might be easier for Faisal to just keep a permanent posting up at this point. Would save him some time.
Faisal just seems like that old school boss type that will believe in things like analysts or associates will have to spend 3 or 4 years before getting promoted as they have to pay their dues. Cant blame him as his boss when he was starting out might have had the same mentality but the world has changed. He would have worked to the bone and pulled all nighters and he could have put up with low pay when he was a junior level employee but there is just no need for that now given the nature of the market. I cant imagine doing bitch work for low pay today at small firms despite what Faisal would tell junior level employees that they gain valuable learning experiences doing bitch work. And it's not a surprise that only kids who need visas put up with that and you can see who still works there lol.
If anyone on here is thinking of taking this job because they do sexy deals - please rethink.
There are an incredible amount of opportunities out there now that will pay you better, treat you better, and give you an actual life outside of work.
